Coming to America!

Only about 48 hours until our friends from Berlin arrive here in the US and the excitement is building. As we get ready to show off our hometown and most of the Berliners get ready to experience Tennessee and the USA for the first time, we begin to think about what makes our country and culture unique. What do we want to share with our guests? What would we prefer to sweep under the rug?
Looking at your own country from the outside is always an interesting experience. What did we Americans learn in Berlin about the differences between German and American culture? Berliners, what do you expect to experience when you get to the US? What stereotypes do you expect to be completely false?
